Board is bringing out a “Coir Export Manuel” which has a
detailed summary of Foreign Trade Policy and its
application to the Coir Sector, Customs and Central
Excise formalities ITC (HS) Classification, Export
documentation with extracts of various forms, Bank
procedures, DDB, DEPB Rates and how to apply for them,
Export statistics and a detailed analysis of the
emerging trends, direction and flows of Exports in the
last three years, with detailed statistics, charts,
graphs, tables, etc.
The subject of Foreign Trade is a very
complex and fascinating subject by itself and the
various intricate policies and complicated procedures
need to be fine-tuned by the user for his day-to-day
operations. The sea faring of traders will find the Book
fascinating as it has all the topics condensed and
explained in topical chapters in lucid style and
straight narration. The procedure of Shipping right from
getting the order to export realization is neatly
sketched. The various Port charges are chronicled.
The publication aside from giving
wealth of information on all the facets of Foreign
Export trade, policies, documentation of procedures,
gives a glimpse of Bank formalities to be adhered.
