What is Coir Board?
Coir Board is a statutory body established by the Government of India under a legislation enacted by the Parliament namely Coir Industry Act 1953 (45 of 1953) for the promotion and development of Coir Industry in India as a whole.

How I can locate a showroom?
We have showrooms all over India, the details of which are given tin the Showrooms directory. Click on the place to get the address of our showroom there. You can contact our showroom directly for retail and bulk purchases.
How can I get details of Trade fairs?
To see the trade fair details click here. You can contact either Coir Board or the concerned authority as given in the contact address of the Trade Fair/Exhibition.
How can I find the information required for me?
The site is designed to provide the user specific information. General visitors or users can get the required information from the home page itself by clicking the respective link. Specific information for/about coir industry clients is on the customized user zone. If you want information regarding the exporters of coir go to the exporter’s zone. Also enter buyer’s zone, manufacturer’s zone for respective information. Prospective Entrepreneurs (new entrants in industry) are requested to use the Entrepreneur’s zon. Click here for site map.
Is it necessary to register with Coir Board?
All industries dealing with coir and coir products in India should register with Coir Board as required by Law. All manufacturers, buying agents and exporters should register to enter coir trade. Registered exporters of Coir Board require no separate registration as exporter. Entrepreneurs are eligible to get financial assistance only if they have registered with Coir Board. On-line registration into this portal as a user will not entitle any one to be considered as a registered client (Manufacturer or Exporter) of Coir Board. Click here to view the guidelines for exporter registration. Users registering on-line with the site should login with their username and password to use the message board and trade leads facilities.
How can I register with Coir Board?
